      With that bullet hole he looks more like a wascally wabbit than a wild one

      When I was a kid I had a bunny with a hole in it’s ear! (We’re grew rabbit meat too but this was my pet.)

      Wasn’t a bullet wound though, it had gotten a cyst, that cyst popped on both sides and the scar tissue pulled the wound open and healed with a hole. Unsure what this rabbits story is, but it looks similar.

      Elephants in Africa also has these, their ears are much larger than their Asian cousins, and a failed poaching expedition tends to leave bullet holes in their ears.

      Could be a bullet hole, but I’d sooner guess it was nipped by another rabbit. They can be quite mean to each other!

      Its almost as if cartilage doesnt regenerate.

      Likely a .22. That rabbits name is def Lucky.
